Christmas Party Outreach Training

Do the kids in your neighborhood know what Christmas is REALLY all about? In today’s culture, most don’t.

This holiday season you can host a Christmas party to build relationships with families and tell boys and girls the true story of Christmas—and how Jesus can change their lives.

Adults and children alike enjoy a good Christmas party, and CEF has developed an extraordinary program called Christmas Across America, a fun, evangelistic, and innovative event for kids that celebrates one of the most amazing events in all of history—the birth of Jesus!

Through a fun event, you can share the true meaning of Christmas and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children in your community. As you step out in faith, you will have the privilege of watching God work in the hearts and lives of children and adults alike. It’s a perfect opportunity to make connections with unchurched children and their families.

This year we’ll be using the Light of Life party kit from CEF Press. Children will learn how God created and used light in amazing ways to announce the birth of the Savior. The kit includes a large fold-up visual, text, PowerPoint verse, and song visuals and ideas for crafts, games, snacks, and more fun! The kit (a $13.75 value) is FREE to those conducting a party with CEF.

What commitment is needed for a Christmas party for children?
•  Decide where to hold your party.
•  Attend CEF training in November and apply to serve as a CEF volunteer.
•  Form a team of three or more volunteers who will apply to serve as CEF volunteers.
•  Conduct an exciting party using the provided Christmas party kit and report the results to CEF.
•  Follow up with the children and families, connecting them with your church.

If you need help teaching your party, CEF has volunteers who will gladly assist your team.
